Ross & Associates offer both
NHS and Private care.
Prevention
Our Hygienist attends
the practice most days and is able to provide preventative treatment
including scaling. Prevention and early detection are key in
avoiding costly and painful dental treatment. Prevention begins
with the control of plaque and calculus, the main cause of decay
and gum disease.
Cosmetic Dental Treatment
A full range of cosmetic treatments
are available including crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers,
cosmetic bleaching (tooth whitening) and tooth coloured fillings.
Some of these treatments are not available on the NHS.
Crowns
Crowns can be used to remedy
a large number of patients problems, and the practice has many
years experience working with these items.
Veneers
Veneers are used to brighten
a smile and ensure it is even and attractive.
Implants
In certain cases missing teeth
can be replaced utilising titanium implants embedded in the
jaws.
Denture repairs
Denture repairs should be brought
to the surgery before 10.00am to enable us to provide a same
day service. Any repairs brought in before 10.00 am are usually
ready for collection the next day.
Oral surgery
A number of surgical procedures e.g. the removal of impacted
wisdom teeth, can be carried out in the surgery often with
the aid of sedation. In many cases this avoid the need to
be referred to hospital for treatment.
At present NHS patients
pay 80% of the total cost of their dental treatment. These charges
are fixed by Government. We request payment for work completed
after each visit.
If you are exempt from payment,
please inform the receptionist. Should you need more information
about exemption or help with NHS costs, please enquire at the
desk.
